FAQs

Question Answer
What is the 3C's MHA? The 3C's Minor Hockey Association was formed in 2014 and encompasses Castor, Coronation, Consort and surrounding areas. It consists of an executive that governs all Minor Hockey from Pre-novice to Midget within its geographical boundaries.
What about Castor Minor Hockey? Castor Minor Hockey no longer exists and falls under 3C's MHA.
What about Coronation Minor Hockey? Coronation Minor Hockey no longer exists and falls under 3C's MHA.
What about Consort Minor Hockey? Consort Minor Hockey no longer exists and falls under 3C's MHA.
How can I get a Release for my child? Releases no longer exist; please refer to Player Movement Forms.
Can I get a Player Movement Form (PMF) for my child? A PMF will only be issued if the child does not have a team available to play on within the 3C's MHA or is going to play at a higher level (i.e.: AA or AAA).
How can I get a Player Movement Form for my child? If your child does not have a team to play on within the 3C's MHA, or is going to play on a AA or AAA team, please contact the 3C's MHA President, Mark Zimmer.
When is registration? Early registration is usually open May 1 and closes June 15. Registration after this date will incur a late fee. Please watch the website for announcements.
I thought Pre-Novice, Novice and Atom were still separate. All minor hockey teams within Castor, Coronation and Consort fall under 3C's MHA. At this time the PeeWee, Bantam and Midget ages will combine teams, but the Pre-Novice, Novice and Atom age groups will continue to have one team per town.
When is payment for fees due? All payment of fees and late fees is due by September 1, unless other arrangements have been made.
I haven't paid my fees; can my child still play? In order for your child to play, fees must be paid in full or other arrangements must be made with the Treasurer.
I haven't registered, can my child still attend practices? In order for your child to be on the ice during a minor hockey session, they MUST be registered with the team.
I have two kids that I want to play on the same team, how do I do this? All placements at the PeeWee, Bantam and Midget age levels are done by evaluators at the beginning of the season based on a player’s performance during evaluation sessions. Requests to be placed on a particular team are not accepted.
What are Evaluations? Evaluations are a three-day process in which non-partisan volunteer evaluators assess players during on ice sessions.
When are Evaluations? Evaluations are usually held during the third week of September. Please see the schedule tab for firm dates.
